Thank you jim for … Thank you jim for all those wonderfull saturdays. It was not a saturday untill wide world of sports was on with jim mckay. Jim was so great he could make a turtle race exciting.Rest in peace and thank you.
I grew up with this … I grew up with this voice. Jim was the best at what he did. Good or bad he made you feel as though you knew him and he was talking right to you. Weather it was the terrorist killings at the games in 72′ or doing bull riding in Texas it was always done with class. Thanks for the memories Jim……you will be missed.
